Lucas Welander Joins Salco’s Regulatory Compliance Group

It gives us great pleasure to announce that Lucas Welander has joined the Salco Regulatory Compliance Group. Lucas is a combat veteran of the United States Marine Corps. Lucas holds an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Nondestructive testing from Southwest Community College. He also holds Level III certifications in UT, RT, MT, PT, VT, and Industrial Radiography Radiation Safety Personnel (IRRSP) program provides third-party radiation safety certification (IRRSP) from The American Society of Nondestructive Testing (ASNT).

Lucas has over a decade of industry experience in NDT, and Quality Assurance, along with tank car construction, repair, and MRU services, most recently serving as Trinity Industries in-house Level III Program Director. He has a wide range of industry and non-industry contacts we plan to take advantage of to expand the RCG’s client base inside and outside of the tank car industry, along with supporting our existing technical services client base.

Lucas also holds several patents associated with Phased Array Ultrasonic Inspection and is excited about joining the Regulatory Compliance Team. Please join us in welcoming Lucas to the Stucki/Salco team.
